Direct grants

In addition to structured calls for proposals, numerous extra-call projects and initiatives have been supported over the years. These were designed as experimental interventions to explore innovative solutions and respond to emerging challenges in the agricultural sector.

These initiatives, dedicated to topics such as professional training, participatory research, climate change adaptation, and advocacy for sustainable agricultural policies, aim to build skills and refine practices that can be replicated on a larger scale.

Through these activities, the Foundation aims to support agriculture capable of adapting to environmental changes and positively influencing the regulatory and political context, directly involving farmers, technicians, and local communities.

Participatory research initiatives, for example, value the practical knowledge of agricultural communities, while good lobbying activities help promote public policies that are more sensitive to the needs of sustainable and social agriculture.
